A driver was arrested Tuesday, March 19 after a traffic stop conducted by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department.
A deputy stopped a vehicle for reportedly exceeding the posted speed limit on Lincoln Hwy near the intersection with Iris Rd.
During the investigation, police say it was learned that said driver did not have a license. The driver, who was identified as 39-year-old Wualter Almendarez, was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle without ever receiving a license.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
