A New Carlisle man was arrested Tuesday, February 6 following a traffic stop in the area of U.S. 30 east of Oak Drive.
Plymouth police conducted the traffic stop on an eastbound vehicle on U.S. 30 that reportedly had a broken taillight.
Police say the driver, 34-year-old Devington Halliburton of New Carlisle, was found to have a suspended license and was also in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of driving while suspended, and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
