Two Arrested on Dealing in Marijuana after Traffic Stop

Two people were arrested after a traffic stop Saturday, January 6 in Marshall County.

A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Deputy with K-9 Officer Diesel conducted the traffic stop in the area of U.S. 31 and 11th Road.


The driver of the vehicle was identified as 41-year-old James Pace of Indianapolis and the passenger/registered owner of the vehicle was identified as 24-year-old Shyterrious Dady of Indianapolis.


During the traffic stop, police say nearly 150 pounds of suspected marijuana, $6,150 in US currency, and a loaded handgun were located and seized by officers.


Pace and Dady were both transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on a preliminary charge of dealing in marijuana.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
