Plymouth Police Department Make Arrests on Various Charges

Plymouth Police Department officers recently made several arrests of individuals on various charges.

Officers were notified of a battery in progress Wednesday, January 3 at 3:30 p.m. ET. Police arrived on the scene at Loon Court and found the suspect, Thomas Strietelmeier, 20, of Plymouth, inside the residence. He was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Later that evening, Plymouth officers conducted a traffic stop at U.S. 30 and Oak Drive on a car driven by Pedro Brito, 25, of Alexandria, Virginia, for speeding It was determined that Brito never had a driver’s license and he was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

On January 4 at 8:35 p.m. ET, Plymouth officers made a traffic stop on a driver that was speeding at 96 in a 60 mph zone. The driver, Noemi Amaro Chavez, 19 of Lansing, Illinois, was determined to have never had a driver’s license and was in possession of marijuana. Chavez was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
