High Speed Chase Puts Plymouth Man in Jail

A high speed chase Friday, December 29 at 6:20 p.m. ET resulted in the arrest of a Plymouth man.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop with the vehicle in the area of Oak Road and Ritter Street in Plymouth.

Police say the driver of the vehicle failed to yield and took off from police at a high rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield to police for the next 48 minutes as a multi-jurisdictional pursuit ensued that traveled into Fulton County and Cass County before the vehicle stopped in the area of 950 S. and 300 W. in Fulton County.


The driver of the vehicle was identified as 36-year-old Brandon Craft of Plymouth. According to the report, Craft had numerous active warrants for his arrest through Marshall County for felony intimidation, the defendant drawing or using a deadly weapon, felony residential entry breaking and entering a dwelling, invasion of privacy-violating a protective order, interference with the reporting of a crime, and criminal mischief.

Craft was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement with a vehicle, reckless driving, and his active warrants.


The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Plymouth Police Department, Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department, Cass County Sheriff’s Department, and Indiana State Police.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
