A Hebron man was arrested Tuesday, January 23 after a Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy found him to be under the influence of alcohol.
The deputy found the driver, 43-year-old John L. Sodomire, sleeping in his vehicle in the area of U.S. 30 and U.S. 31. Police say Sodomire was found to have been drinking and stopped along side of the road. He was given field sobriety tests and a certified blood test, and it was found that Sodomire had a blood alcohol level of .140%, according to the report.
Sodomire was arrested and charged with a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
