A traffic stop at the LaPaz Speedway gas station Sunday, December 31 around 2 p.m. ET resulted in an arrest.
A Marshall County reserve officer recognized Kody Grantham operating a vehicle with a suspended prior driving status and Grantham was taken into custody.
Police say a baggie and straw with cocaine residue along with a prescription pill were found during a search. Grantham was then transported to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of driving while suspended prior, possession of cocaine under 5 grams, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
