Argos Man Arrested after Accident

Brady Koz

An Argos man was arrested Sunday, January 7 at 2:40 a.m. ET after the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a call about a single-vehicle accident in the 10,000 block of King Road.

During the investigation, police say it was determined that a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Brady Koz of Argos was heading southbound on King Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway striking a large stump, mailboxes, and an REMC utility pole.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Koz was under the influence of alcohol, according to the report.

A field sobriety test and a later certified chemical test reportedly showed Koz to be over two times the legal limit of alcohol. Koz was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of operating while intoxicated .15 or greater.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
