The Plymouth Community School Board approved a wage increase for classified employees at their regular monthly meeting Tuesday night.
Hourly classified employees will see an increase of $.50 per hour while salaried classified employees will see a $1,000 increase in that salary. The increase will be for those who have been employed for at least 120 days.
Bus driver’s pay is based on a daily rate and they will have an increase of $5 per day for their services.
Permanent substitutes in each building will have an increase of their daily per diem to $120 a day.
The corporation will also take over an additional 10 percent of premiums for those who have corporation health insurance which will result in a decrease of deductions from employees’ checks.
