Officers from the Plymouth Police Department investigated an accident at Michigan and Washington Street Thursday, November 2 at 3:48 p.m. ET.
Police say a Ford E-350 operated by Andrea Collins, 56, of Knox was making a left turn onto Michigan Street when her vehicle struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian, Doug Stewart, 59, of Plymouth was crossing Michigan Street from west to east, according to the report.
Collins reportedly stated that she could not see the pedestrian due to the sun being in her eyes.
Stewart was transported for treatment by Plymouth EMS.
