The Plymouth Community School Board members considered the ratification of the proposed Master Contract between the Plymouth Education Association and the Plymouth Community School Corporation.
Among other items within the contract, the proposed contract for July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, proposes a raise in the salary range for returning teachers from $46,000-$74,848.
Once teachers reach $75,848 as their base salary, they will no longer receive a base salary increase but will be eligible for a stipend equivalent to any base salary increases all other teachers receive.
Teachers who receive an evaluation rating of Effective or Highly Effective will receive a $1,000 increase in their base salary.
Members of the Plymouth Education Association in attendance thanked the corporation for efforts in putting together the contract.
The Plymouth Community School Board approved the agreement unanimously.
