During their regular October meeting, the Bourbon Town Council members appointed Susie Schaetzle as Bourbon Building Commissioner & Zoning Enforcement Officer. That appointment is pending the review of her contract which will be drawn up by Attorney Alex Hoover. That contract will be drafted for a term of six months after which point her performance will be evaluated.
The Plan Commission also submitted a recommendation to the Bourbon Town Council for a solar ordinance that limits solar projects to roof mounted only. Hoover will review the recommendations and begin the process of establishing a solar ordinance that reflects the recommendation.
