The Plymouth Community School Board members talked about an additional appropriation and the 2024 budget during their meeting last week.
Plymouth Community School Corporation Business Manager Steven Boyer came before the board to seek an additional appropriation of $1.275 million to the Operations Fund for the schools. Boyer told the board that the amount was over the Department of Local Government Finance approval for the 2023 calendar year in the budget and the reason was that revenues available to the school for the year had been underestimated.
Boyer also asked the board for approval for the budget for the 2024 school year including the Capital Projects Plan and the Bus Replacement Plan for the coming year.
There was no public input during the public hearing either for or against the requests and the board approved them unanimously.
