Plymouth Man Arrested on Suspicion of Domestic Battery

A Plymouth man was arrested Saturday, September 2 after a call was made to Marshall County Dispatch concerning a domestic battery that occurred in the 6000 block of State Road 17.

A Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputy arrived on scene and reportedly observed a female with marks on her neck.  The deputy was then escorted inside the home by the victim to speak with the suspect who was later identified as 29-year-old Joshua M. Hostetler of Plymouth, according to the report.

As a result, Hostetler was placed into custody and taken to the Marshall County Jail.  He faces a preliminary charge of domestic battery.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
