Plymouth Police Department officers were dispatched to Freeman Drive for a possible fight in progress at 5:45 p.m. ET Tuesday, September 5.
An investigation reportedly determined that 31-year-old Anthony Waggoner, of Plymouth, had gone to a residence on Freeman Drive and assaulted the victim who was transported to the hospital for the resulting injuries.
Waggoner was located walking near the residence and detained and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked on preliminary charges of domestic battery and public intoxication.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
