Thursday, August 31 was City of Plymouth Coordinator Laura Banning Mann’s last official day at the City of Plymouth.
After 16 years of service, the staff celebrated her last day with cupcakes while sharing memories. Deputy Clerk Kyle Williams and Utility Clerk Mackenzie Branch wore bats in their hair to tease Mann since she is not a big fan of them and does not like running in to them in the city building. She does like butterflies though and invites everyone to continue to visit her at the Butterfly Boutique in downtown Plymouth.
Laura Banning Mann has been instrumental in coordinating many, many events over the last few years, including all of the musical talents for the Mayor’s Month of Music, the downtown tractor show, and many other city-sponsored or promoted activities for the residents to enjoy over the years.
