Several Arrested by Plymouth Police Department Officers in Separate Incidents

Several people were arrested on various charges in separate incidents investigated by officers from the Plymouth Police Department.

A traffic stop by Plymouth officers led to the arrest of a Michigan City man Saturday, August 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET.  The driver, Robert Aldrich, 51, was found to be a habitual traffic violator as a felony.  Aldrich was transported to the Marshall County Jail.

In another incident, Plymouth police conducted a traffic stop on normal patrol on Sunday, August 6 at 8:27 a.m. ET at Klinger and Grand Street when they reportedly noticed a person driving a Ford F-150 without a license plate.  The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, James Campbell, 50, of Plymouth was reportedly found to be driving while suspended with prior convictions.  He was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Also on Sunday, August 6, Plymouth officers responded to an address on West Jefferson Street in Plymouth for the report of a battery.  Officers made contact at the scene with two men outside the residence. After an investigation, police say it was determined that a battery had occurred and Taylor Harris, 33 of Plymouth was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
