Plymouth Police Department Makes Several Arrests

The Plymouth Police Department investigated several calls Wednesday and Thursday and as a result made several arrests.

A South Bend woman is in jail after a traffic stop Wednesday, August 9.  Plymouth Police conducted a traffic stop at 5:30 a.m. ET at the corner of Michigan and Hoham Drive for a traffic violation. During the stop, it was reportedly determined that Sandra Vazquez, 25, was operating a vehicle without ever being issued a license.  She was taken to the Marshall County Jail.

In a separate incident Wednesday, August 9, Plymouth officers responded to Conger Street on a report of a domestic argument between Adam Morgan, 42, of Plymouth, and a relative.   During the investigation, police reportedly determined that Morgan had taken control of the relative’s cell phone preventing a 911 call.  Morgan was taken to the Marshall County Jail and lodged on a preliminary charge of interfering with the reporting of a crime.

Additionally, officers made an arrest Thursday, August 10 after investigating suspicious circumstances in the area of Walnut and Harrison Street at 3:30 a.m. ET.  An officer came across a vehicle that was stopped in the roadway and determined that the driver of that vehicle, Jordan Shepard, 30, of Plymouth was impaired, according to the report.

Shepard was allegedly found to be nearly four times the legal limit of alcohol and taken to the Marshall County Jail.

Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.

Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
