Plymouth Man Arrested for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender

Albert Miller, Jr.

Marshall County Sheriff’s Department officers took a man into custody for failure to register as a sex offender.

Albert Presston Miller, Jr. of Plymouth is a registered sex offender having been convicted of child solicitation with 16 years remaining on his requirements to register as a sex offender. Police say he has a requirement to register annually, as well as within 72 hours for any change of information including his address, phone number, and social media accounts.

It was reportedly discovered on August 15 that Miller’s registered phone number was no longer in service and Miller obtained a new phone without registering the number. It was also discovered that a social media account through Facebook showed Albert Miller as the owner of the unregistered account, according to the report.

Miller was located at his residence August 23 and questioned regarding the discrepancies.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail for failure to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction.

All suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
