An investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department Monday, July 31 resulted in the execution of a search warrant in the 13,000 block of 6A Road in Plymouth.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of 24-year-old Lane Everly of Plymouth.
Officers reportedly uncovered communication between Everly and what they thought to be a 14-year-old girl.
Everly was then lodged at the Marshall County Jail for child solicitation, Level 4 Felony and resisting law enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor. He was given a $10,000 cash bond.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
