A Michigan man was arrested Wednesday, August 23 just after 6 a.m. after Plymouth Police Department officers responded to Pretzels, Inc. for two separate 911 calls.
Police were advised that an employee had been involved in a physical altercation. While investigating the matter, the suspect, 33-year-old Mardel Beamon of Grandville, Michigan allegedly became disorderly and uncooperative. Beamon was said to have gotten physical with a Pretzels employee while attempting to deliver goods to the factory, according to the report.
Beamon was taken into custody after a brief struggle and lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a preliminary charge of resisting law enforcement.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are considered innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
