The Plymouth Police Department was dispatched to Walmart Saturday, July 15 after receiving a 911 call about some type of domestic issue.
Officers located a male identified as 47-year-old William R. Gutierrez, of Valparaiso just after 11 p.m. ET who was combative and was reportedly warned multiple times to stop yelling and making a scene.
He was found to be operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was taken into custody on preliminary charges of operating while intoxicated, resisting law enforcement, and disorderly conduct.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
