A Plymouth man is in jail after reportedly failing to register as a sex offender.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Michael Allen Kneece Jr., 37, of Plymouth is a registered sex offender having been convicted of sexual misconduct with a minor with a lifetime requirement to register any change of information including his primary residence within 72 hours of a change.
In May of this year, Kneece was registered as living on W. Harrison Street in Plymouth. During a home visit in June of this year, it was found that Kneece was no longer at that residence and had failed to register his new address with any jurisdiction and an arrest warrant was issued for failure to register as a sex offender with a prior conviction, according to the report.
Kneece was located in Pickaway County Ohio on July 14 and was transported back to Marshall County to face criminal charges.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
