Plymouth Police Department officers made an arrest after a traffic stop Saturday, July 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
Police pulled over a vehicle driven by John W. Pacheco-Mendoza, 18, of Plymouth.
Mendoza was reportedly found to be operating a vehicle without a driver’s license and was taken into custody.
In a separate incident, Plymouth officers were dispatched to North Michigan Street in Plymouth Sunday, July 23 just before 9 p.m. ET for a report of an intoxicated male getting into the driver’s seat of a vehicle. Officers located the suspected vehicle and initiated a traffic stop when it was determined that Alfredo Bernerdo, 35, of Plymouth was reportedly under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, operating a vehicle endangering and operator never licensed.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
