Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded to an accident in the intersection of King and 7th Road in Plymouth Sunday, July 23 just after 5 p.m. ET.
A 2020 Toyota driven by Gene M. Marsh, 69, was traveling eastbound on 7th Road and intending to turn north on King. A 2015 Ford Explorer driven by Rosa M. Juarez Zuniga, 37, was traveling southbound on King Road approaching the intersection with 7th Road.
Police say Marsh failed to yield the right-of-way to Zuniga and the two vehicles had a right-angle collision causing disabling damage to both vehicles. Both drivers complained of pain but refused treatment and transport from EMS.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by LaPaz Fire and EMS.
