On Monday at 7:21 p.m., Marshall County Dispatch advised officers of a possible battery that had taken place in the 10,000 block of Lincoln Highway between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
During the investigation of the battery, it was found that an active protective order was in place between the parties.
Drew DeMask was placed in custody for invasion of privacy.
The battery investigation is ongoing.
