Bourbon Police Department Sergeant Carl Amsden submitted the Bourbon Police Department (BPD) report for June 2023.
He reported 861 Daily Log Entries. The Activity Report for June 2023 included three accidents reported, three uniform traffic tickets, three ordinance tickets, zero school patrols, two written warnings, 29 verbal warnings, one vehicle identification check, 44 traffic details including radar checks, four motorist assists, three attempts to locate and ten foot patrols.
The Administrative and General Report included 119 office details, zero firearms applications, one record check / processing, 60 general complaints, 21 requests for service, 129 security checks, 117 public contacts, 25 assists to other agencies, seven animal complaints, two notices served, seven doors or windows found open, three family disturbance complaints, 21 suspicious persons or vehicles, and 13 calls to 9-1-1.
In other news, Sgt. Amsden updated the council that a new officer will complete Indiana Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) on August 18.
