The Plymouth Community School Board approved a resolution last week to approve the “disposal” of surplus equipment clearing the way for the corporation to sell replaced iPads to the public.
The resolution will allow 2,000 iPads to be put up to the public for sale starting on Thursday, June 15 for a cost of $75. The units would not include chargers or cords. The sale would be open to only those living in the Plymouth School Corporation District and would require an identification to prove residency.
Purchasers would be allowed to buy a maximum of two devices per person and would be on a first-come, first-served basis with no guarantee or warranty on the devices.
