Marshall County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrested an Illinois man on Saturday for possession.
Marshall County Dispatch received a call about a speeding vehicle traveling south on U.S. 31 in the area of Tyler Road.
Officers located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop for several traffic infractions and suspected marijuana and paraphernalia were located in the vehicle.
Diego M. Tequimila, 30, of Bolingbrook, Illinois was taken to the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
