PLYMOUTH – A Bremen man was arrested Thursday, June 22 after a struggle with police serving a warrant.
The Plymouth Police Department was advised that Ralph Reed, 44, of Bremen was in the area of Lincoln Highway and Pioneer Drive and had an active warrant. Officers located Reed at a residence on West Jefferson in Plymouth and attempted to take him into custody.
A struggle ensued causing minor injuries to one officer, according to the report. Reed was taken into custody for the warrant and booked on preliminary charges of battery on a public safety official and resisting law enforcement.
Formal charges will be determined by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office.
Suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
