Marshall, Starke, Pulaski Counties Remain in Blue on Indiana’s COVID-19 Map

Indiana Department of Health’s Jun. 23 County Metrics Map

Marshall, Starke, and Pulaski counties remain in the blue on the Indiana Department of Health’s County Metrics Map this week. That means there’s a low level of COVID-19 spread. But Fulton and White counties are among the seven coded yellow, the next level up. No counties are in the high-spread orange or red categories.

Wednesday’s COVID-19 update showed four new cases in Marshall County and two new cases in Pulaski County, while the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Pulaski County was revised downward to 47.

The number of cases in Indiana’s long-term care facilities remains low. Fourteen new cases and eight deaths were added to the long-term care dashboard this week. A few date back several months. None of those occurred locally. The number of long-term care residents who’ve tested positive or died from COVID-19 has been relatively low since vaccines became available.
