A Flood Advisory is in effect early Saturday morning for parts of the local area. Northeastern Pulaski County is under a Flood Advisory until 2:00 a.m. EDT Saturday, while southeastern Starke County, southern Marshall County, and north-central Fulton County is under a flood advisory until 3:00 a.m. EDT/2:00 a.m. CDT.
The National Weather Service says one to three inches of rain have already fallen with one to three more inches expected, causing minor flooding. Motorists are reminded to “Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads.”
Meanwhile, much of Northern Indiana remains under a Flash Flood Watch until Sunday morning.
