Marshall County Reports 110th COVID-19 Death

Another Marshall County resident has died while positive for COVID-19. The death occurred Wednesday, according to the Indiana Department of Health. That brings the county’s total number of COVID-19 deaths to 110.

Friday’s update showed 14 new COVID-19 cases in Marshall County, five in Starke County, and three in Pulaski County. The state as a whole reported almost 1,500 new cases. That’s the most since mid-April and just the third time that number has surpassed 1,400 since February.

Another eight Hoosiers have died. The total number of variant cases Indiana has seen is now approaching 1,250.

More than a third of Pulaski County residents are fully vaccinated, along with a quarter of Starke County residents and almost 32 percent of Marshall County residents. You can find a vaccination site and make an appointment at ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.
