Funding for trail projects should be able to pick up where if left off.
Indiana had accepted applications for a second round of Next Level Trails Grants last spring, when the program was put on hold due to funding uncertainty caused by the pandemic. But now, Governor Holcomb says revenues are stronger than expected, and programs that were already funded but put on hold will be able to resume.
In addition to Next Level Trails, that also includes $110 million of deferred maintenance projects.
