Co-Alliance is finalizing its merger with Harvest Land Co-op. The two agriculture and energy cooperatives announced Friday that both of their boards and members “overwhelmingly agreed to merge.” It will officially take effect February 1.
The new entity will be known as Co-Alliance Cooperative, Inc. and will be headquartered in Avon. Current Co-Alliance President & CEO Kevin Still will remain in that role with the new cooperative, while Harvest Land CEO Scott Logue will become the executive vice president.
The merger was first announced back in August. Friday’s announcement says the merged co-op will have more than 1,000 employees and $1.3 billion in sales.
