A few more COVID-19 cases have been reported in Marshall, Starke, and Pulaski counties. Marshall County had another 14 cases, according to Sunday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health, bringing the total to 5,053.
Starke County had two more cases for a total of 1,756, and Pulaski County had three more cases for a total of 973. No new deaths were reported locally.
Seven-day positivity rates remain below 10 percent for all tests: 5.5 percent in Marshall County, 9.8 percent in Starke County, and 8.2 percent in Pulaski County. But the rate rises to about 20 percent in Marshall and Pulaski counties, when limited to unique individuals, and 17 percent in Starke County.
More than 9,300 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died. When probable deaths are included, that number increases to more than 9,700.
More than 434,000 Hoosiers have gotten their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of Sunday morning, while almost 99,000 are now fully vaccinated. Any Hoosier age 70 and older can sign up to get a COVID-19 vaccine at ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211.
