Millions of high-grade face masks will soon be made in Jasper County. Indiana Face Mask has gotten its federal certification to make N95 masks, according to Governor Eric Holcomb.
“Out of thousands of submissions, they were one of five in the nation that were approved, right back home here in Indiana, up in Rensselaer,” Holcomb said during Wednesday’s COVID-19 briefing.
The business was launched back in May by the owners of American Melt Blown & Filtration. You can check out business formation lawyers for hire from here, for more information.
State Health Commissioner Dr. Kris Box joined the governor in congratulating them. “That NIOSH certification that the masks got and the company got, it just means so much to our health care providers, when they have the confidence to know that those masks are giving them the maximum protection,” Box commented.
Holcomb noted that not only will the company be providing millions of masks and other pieces of personal protective equipment, but it will also be bringing more jobs to the area.
