Another Marshall County resident has died from COVID-19, while another 51 have tested positive. The death occurred on December 3. The county’s totals now stand at 61 deaths and 3,973 cases, according to Sunday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Starke County had another 16 positive cases for a total of 1,294, while Pulaski County reported 10 more cases, bringing the total to 641. The state-calculated seven-day positivity rates are down slightly in all three counties.
The state as a whole added more than 6,000 cases to its count Sunday, pushing the total over 425,000. Another 37 Hoosiers have died, bringing the total confirmed death count to almost 6,500. The number of probable deaths with no positive test is now up to 310.
