Three more Marshall County residents have died while positive for COVID-19. All three deaths occurred on Friday, according to Saturday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. Sixty Marshall County residents have now died as a result of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.
Marshall County reported another 59 COVID-19 cases Saturday for a new total of 3,922. Another 26 cases were reported in Starke County for a total of 1,279, and Pulaski County had 23 more positive cases, bringing the total to 622.
The state as a whole reported more than 7,500 new cases, pushing the total over 419,000. Another 85 Hoosiers have died, bringing the state’s total confirmed death count to 6,458. The number of deaths that are believed to be COVID-19-related but without a positive test is now at 300.
