The National Weather Service is asking residents to hold off on outdoor burning. Forecasters expect an elevated risk for fire danger starting Friday afternoon, and a Fire Weather Watch will be in effect for the local area from Saturday morning through Saturday evening. Low humidity and breezy conditions could allow grass and field fires to spread quickly.
The National Weather Service reminds residents planning to do an agricultural burn to call them first for a forecast, check and see if their local area requires a burn permit, and not to burn on dry and windy days.
A frost advisory has also been issued for Saturday morning.
