Another seven Marshall County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. That brings the total up to 821, according to Wednesday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health. Pulaski County’s case count increased by one, for a total of 88. No new cases were reported in Starke County.
All three counties had a seven-day positivity rate of five percent or less, according to the state’s calculations.
The number of COVID-19 cases in the area’s long-term care facilities was largely unchanged. The only major difference is that the number of staff members who’ve tested positive at Miller’s Merry Manor in Plymouth is now at 39, up from 37 in last week’s report. No new resident cases were reported.
Indiana as a whole had another 506 positive cases, for a total of 82,336. Another 14 Hoosiers have died, with the total approaching 3,000.
