A Plymouth woman was arrested, following a crash in Marshall County Friday night. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the 11,000 block of Muckshaw Road around 9:30 p.m. Officers suspect Brandy E. Ray, 41, was under the influence of controlled substances when she allegedly drove off the roadway, hit another vehicle that had pulled off the road to get out of her way, and ended up in a swamp.
Police say Ray was taken to the hospital and then eventually booked into the Marshall County Jail on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person. Officers also reportedly found drug paraphernalia on her person while she was in jail. Police say additional charges may be coming.
