This year’s Bremen Firemen’s Festival has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns. The Bremen Firemen’s Association says it had initially planned to postpone the event from its usual dates in June, but in the end, the association didn’t think it could “adhere to the strict guidelines provided by the State of Indiana to safely have our festival.”
Firefighters also say that those who donated to their picture fundraiser that was also postponed will soon be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled. The Bremen Firemen’s Association thanked the community for its support and said it plans to bring the festival back in 2021.
