A Friday afternoon traffic stop led to the recovery of a stolen vehicle, according to Marshall County Police. Officers say they pulled over a speeding vehicle in the area of U.S. 30 and Cedar Road at around 4:20 p.m.
As they investigated, police say they determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier that day. The driver, Jeremiah L. Valencourt Jr., 25, of Three Rivers, was taken to the Marshall County Jail on suspicion of reckless driving and theft of a vehicle.
