The number of Marshall County residents who’ve tested positive for COVID-19 has now surpassed 100. Saturday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health showed 12 new cases in Marshall County, bringing the total up to 102.
Starke County saw four new cases, which, after corrections to Friday’s case count, brings the total to 39. Pulaski County’s number is unchanged at 46. No new deaths were reported in any of those three counties.
The state as a whole reported 693 new positive cases Saturday, for a total of 34,211. Thirteen more COVID-19 patients have died, bringing the state total to 1,958. The number of Hoosiers whose deaths were likely related to COVID-19 but had no positive test is now up to 167.
As of Saturday, almost 64 percent of Indiana residents who’ve had COVID-19 are believed to have recovered, according to the Regenstrief Institute’s analysis of COVID-19 cases.
