Indiana is reporting another 42 COVID-19 deaths. The state’s death count is now at 1,550, according to Friday’s report from the Indiana State Department of Health. Another 141 Hoosiers are believed to have died from COVID-19 but didn’t have a positive test.
The state’s total number of positive cases is now 26,655, an increase of more than 600 from Thursday’s report.
As of Friday, almost 900 Marshall County residents have been tested for COVID-19, with 39 coming back positive. One Marshall County resident has died from the coronavirus. Starke County has had 26 positive cases and two deaths out of 328 total tests. Of the 332 Pulaski County residents who’ve been tested, 34 were found to be positive.
All three counties have seen a lower percentage of tests come back positive than the state as a whole.
