Number of COVID-19 Cases in Indiana Surpasses 10,000 with More than 500 Deaths

The number of Hoosiers who’ve been diagnosed with COVID-19 has now surpassed 10,000. Another 642 positive test results had made their way to the Indiana State Department of Health, as of Friday’s report. So far, 519 Indiana residents have died from the coronavirus.

Locally, Marshall County has now seen 22 positive COVID-19 cases. Starke County remains at 10 and Pulaski County at one.

Lake and Marion counties are still reporting the highest numbers of positive cases in the state. More than 89 percent of those who’ve died from COVID-19 in Indiana were age 60 or older.
