Marshall County’s postmasters are assuring residents that they’re committed to delivering mail and packages throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
They’re asking that residents maintain six feet of distance between themselves and their letter carrier or post office clerk. They also note that there is a very low risk of spreading the coronavirus through the mail, according to the CDC, World Health Organization, and U.S. Surgeon General.
Post office officials remind residents not to place anything without postage or anything unrelated to postal service business in mailboxes.
