The Marshall County Community Foundation and United way are collecting items to create hygiene kits for this month’s Point In Time (PIT) Count.
As previously reported, the organizations will have multiple PIT Count sites stationed across the County on Wednesday, January 22nd in order to gather data about homelessness and housing insecurity.
As a way to thank individuals for participating, organizers will provide each and every person with a personal hygiene kit once they complete the survey on site.
The kits will include a number of items such as a hand towel, a comb, shampoo and conditioner, a bar of soap, deodorant, sunscreen with SPF, feminine hygiene products, floss, a toothbrush and toothpaste.
If you’re in a position to provide assistance, they are in need of some additional donations.
Supplies can be dropped off at multiple sites in Plymouth including the Marshall County Philanthropy Center on Miller Drive, the WTCA Office on Washington Street or the MAX 98.3 FM office on Michigan Street.
Officials ask that items be donated no later than Monday, January 13th.
