The Bourbon Town Council members considered a proposal from the engineering firm Jones, Petrie and Rafinski (JPR) when members met for their January meeting.
Clerk-Treasurer Kim Berger presented members with the document and according to draft minutes, the proposal asked for $9,995 to be paid in order for the firm to aid with the 2020 Community Crossings Grant process.
Councilman P.J. Hanley asked Clerk-Treasurer Berger to weigh in on the matter.
Berger shared that while there was an issue with the way the Town’s Community Crossings application was completed in the past, she thinks that all the issues have been resolved and stated she feels confident that JPR will do a good job moving forward.
The members then voted unanimously to approve the proposal as presented.
